Q.

My daughter is 2 months 18 days old. we have been giving healfonz 800 iu vitamin D3 drops 1 ml per day. I have read on various sites that the correct dosage is 400 iu per day. Her birth weight was 2.5 kg and she is not having any problem. so 800 iu 1 ml per day is high dosage?

A. actually vitamin d3 400iu is given 1 ml per day and vitamin d3 800iu is given 0.5ml per day my doctor prescribed 800iu drops so I'm giving only 0.5 ml for my baby per day better u conform with your doctor

A. hello the dosage of the medicine can depend on the baby weight and it would be better if you can check with your doctor and she will be able to help you on the same which would be better and also safe and absolutely nothing to worry about and go as advised by a doctor
