Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bxgyacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there, Ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to dehydration in the baby. Please give ORS to the baby three times a day. Also increase water intake of the baby. Give lots of liquids and khichdi to the baby. You can also give coconut water to the baby.
