POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. GERD is more common in children who are 2-3 years of age or older. If your child has these continual symptoms, seek medical advice. Between 5-10% of children who are 3-17 years of age experience upper abdominal pain, heartburn, regurgitation, and vomiting, all symptoms that might suggest a GERD diagnosis.
