mera beta 13 months plus h but hue is not standing by himself ..dr told thyroid ho sakta jisse nh ho raha h ya calcium ka Kami ho sakta h to test karne bola h ..anything else I can do ..I m worried .pls help

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Some babies have delayed milestone but if you daily try to encourage your baby to have all the developmental milestones then baby may achieve very soon
if even after doing the baby is not able to stand then you can go for blood test and investigations

Oh 13 month old child usually stands and walk with support only there is no problem with that now you first see how long can your child stand without any support even if it is 10 to 15 seconds that means there is no problem the child is going to work independently only once the child gain confidence I do not think it is because of thyroid but he has deficiency of calcium vitamin D could be there
