Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy2 years agoA. Hai good morning !! Generally babies start speaking clearly by 1.5 years to 2 years old like recognising thing with name,calling with relation,waving hamds say hai and bye ,responding to commands like come,go ,go and sit,bring that,dont go...
If baby responds to commands,speaking few words by asking needs,giving eye contact then dont worry.
If you observe any red flags or delay no eye contact,not mingling with kids,no pretend play,asking with sigh language or showing and asking ,cranky at times without talking then consult developmental paediatrician or speech therapist.
