Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially ftwo doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but v still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello mom
You have to consult this with your doctor about it because your doctor can only advise you well after examining baby. You should not give any medication to your baby till it is not advised by Dr. So consult with your doctor so talk talk and advise you well according to the last vaccination given to your baby.
Happy parenting
