A. Dear mum, for healthy weight gain and growth, give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. Include variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give eggs and non veg food. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Give dry fruits like dates, raisins. Give at least 500 ml of milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years.
