Q.

it is safe for immunization in govt hospital for babies and is their any side effects as fever for long 3 to 4 days

A. is it safe for babies, my doubt is in private hospital once vaccinated baby will suffer 1day of fever, but in govt hospital they have 2 to 3 days of fever is it right sister

A. Yes Government hospitals usually give Pentavalent Vaccine ( DTwP + Hep B+ Hib) and Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV). Later they give Fractionated Injectable Polio Vaccine (fIPV) and Rotavirus Vaccine orally. Usually they give Pneumococcal Vaccine later.

Q. Sir my baby is 6.5 months now. I immunised him with govt immunization schedule. Last vaccine had given him when he was 3.5 months. Next schedule will be on his 9 month of age. My question is influenza and tyfide vaccine cover in this government immunization. Or i have to go to private hospital for said vaccine.
