Q.

It is been 8 weeks postpartum, but my abdomen still looks like that of a 5 months pregnant. My lower abdomen is not that soft and flabby like most of the ladies of 8th weeks of postpartum. My period has also started. Does period reduce breast milk production ? ow to work on to reduce belly fat and please suggest what is to be done.

A. wear abdominal belt for tightening loose abdomen. eat protein rich diet. reduce your sugar and fat intake. drink lots of lukewarm water. breastfeeding helps to burn lots of calories soon

A. hi After 6 months of delivery , start doing exercises and yoga regularly. till that , walk walk and walk. don't use vehicle for short distance. eat couple of bites less than usual. you can drink warm water with honey and few drops of lemon juice daily in morning. and mam,yes ,it might happen that for 2 or 3 days of periods ,you may get low milk supply. but don't worry it alright by own. just feed your child on demand. the more your child latches, the more milk is produced.
