it has been 4month from c section now i am facing itching in c section scar.what to do

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Hello, Be sure to keep your C-section incision site clean and dry. And to thoroughly dry the skin after bathing. Holding an ice pack over your incision can help to relieve the itchiness temporarily. Do talk to your doctor. It’s possible for healing incisions to get infected. tc

Arti shahMom of a 6 m old girl1 week agoA. Itching on a 4-month-old C-section scar is common as the scar heals and matures. It can happen due to dryness, new nerve growth, or mild irritation. To help, keep the area clean, apply a gentle moisturizer or silicone gel, avoid scratching, and wear loose, soft clothing. Mild over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream can reduce itching if needed. Watch for redness, swelling, pain, or discharge—these may indicate infection and need a doctor. Most scars stop itching naturally by 6–12 months.

Use Coconut oil onto that area regularly I think that is going to help but still you should be getting it checked with your doctor because external stitches he’ll completely by this much time so if you are having too much of irritation and get a check with your doctor ones
