Is it safe to take covid vaccine three months after delivery?

A. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Presently children are not included in this list. Mothers can feed their child as soon apps required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

A. Ed Yes it would be considered completely safe to the weather take the vaccination as of now but just you see practically your child is completely dependent on you if you get any side effects of child is also going to suffer with them which is why I am going to advise you to wait for six months after delivery then you go ahead with vaccination once you start other food for the child
