Q.

Is it okay to give water to 7 months old even if he is on breastfeed? and if it is fine, what quantity of water should be given? #AskTheExpert

A. it's okay, giving him a few sips of water with the help of spoon, couple of times a day (no more than 1 ounces per day.) You may start with a sippy cup, spoon, or bottle feeder. Initially they won't take more than a few sips from a cup or bottle at a time—and that's fine, because they don't really need it. u

A. yes you must give water to baby and keep baby well hydrated.. water is important digesting foods and also helps maintaining body temperature.. give water at regular intervals on demand and after meals.. you can give Babyhug sipper to baby as baby can take his own..
