Q.

is it compulsory to give gripe water to babies ? My baby is 8 months old now can I give normal water or gripe water ?

A. no gripe water please. Gripe water generally include sugar and alcohol, sodium bicarbonate, excess of it is harmful for babies. burp well after each feeding. give soft n semi solid food.
