A. yes flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least c60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 5 years of age. previously it was an ocptional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.

A. hi yes it is important to get it done as it provides immunity to a child to fight against seasonal flu which is caused by virus and bacteria. so , please get it done before 12 months age
