Importance of belt after dissolvable surgery of c sectio What if I get up without belt while I was lying or I am sitting on bed and getting lay down without belt or any other support? Does this puts pressure on my inner or outer stitches or belt is just for flatten tummy?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. after delivery abdomen belt or bandaging with cotton saree is being advised so that it helps to settle down the organs to their original positions well
but bandaging with the cotton saree is more comfortable and effective

No not at all this belt that Dr is normally suggest you to wear is to keep your stomach in place what happens is when you deliver weather is a normal delivery or it is a C-section delivery your stomach does suddenly becomes very loose you know so just to keep it in place so that it does not become more sagging and hanging that is the only use of the belt nothing else
