Q.

if my daughter eats oats she has itching in her skin.. is it sure that itching is due to oats?

A. first make sure that the baby is not having any type of itching and then give very little quantity of oats and see if the baby is getting allergy or not and if she is getting then avoid it

A. In infants and children, a reaction to oats can cause food protein–induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES). This condition affects the gastrointestinal tract. It can cause vomiting, dehydration, diarrhea, and poor growth. If severe or long term, FPIES can also cause lethargy and starvation as well.
