Q.

I'm mother of 1yr 6 mnth son n my still is on breastfeed... I got vaccinated on 2nd may... can there be any side effects of this on him?

A. since yesterday he is having a lil cough n his head remains hot... i have checked his temperature also which is normal .. even his spo2 is also normal i.e. 95-96... he is a lil irritated and not taking meals properly. what should I do?

A. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait but if you have already taken the vaccine and you are breastfeeding you can continue breastfeeding and further guidance can be given by your doctor

A. If You’ve already taken the vaccination then it would be advisable for you to quit breastfeeding completely because it in the first case it is not recommended for a mother who is breastfeeding the child to go for I do not know how did you go for it but as of now if you have any side-effects your child will also have it if you breastfeed so please just continue breastfeeding now
