I'm 6month pregnant and I'm noticing pain in vagina while waking up from bed or walking is it normal in pregnancy

A. Hello dear You might be experiencing something called as lightning crotch where there will be severe pain in the vaginal area. It comes due to pressure if the uterus on the pelvis

Normal development of the baby While the baby grows and gains weight inside the uterus, it also increases pressure on the pelvic floor muscles, which are muscles that support the uterus and the vagina. This can cause intense discomfort or pain in the vagina, which is more common during the third trimester of pregnancy.
