Q.
I live in Sweden and here the weather is mostly cold. My 2 year 4 month old son is having quite frequently cold. He is going to daycare from the age of 1 and he started this problem from that time other than that he didn't had this problem before that age. Now the situation is like he is going to daycare for 1 week and next 2 week he is at home. Could some body help me to improve his immunity and get rid of this cold because I think it also not good for the child?

To give those medication. Do we need to do some allergies test because here for prescribed medication need a prescription than only we can get the medicine?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalatiocn will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestavnt medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

I Think your child probably is suffering with an allergy of weather change or because these things are very normal at this age with kids they can suffer with different kind of allergies it could be dust weather change or something so if you can manage to go for treatment for the child and also you start giving turmeric saffron milk to the child regularly
