I have mistakenly given 5ml of promethazine syrup ip phenergan (5mg/5ml) for my 1.6 yr old baby due to vomiting. Doctor prescribed 2.5ml . Baby weight 10kg. May i know serious side effects?

A. Your child is going to sleep maybe more than usual that is the only thing that is going to happen apart from that I don’t see any side-effect of the medicine that you have given just monitor the behaviour of your child for another 48 hours
