Q.

i have got a lot of mood swings after delivery. unable to keep them under control. sometimes i want to cry for no reason. getting irritated very easily which i never experienced before delivery. and i am not an easily tempered person from start. worried a bit about this nature of mine. is it normal after delivery. please suggest me hoe can i get them under control and maintain constant mood through out

A. relax. yiu are not alone in it. thats common. Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. Healthy eating alone won’t cure PPD. Still, getting into the habit of eating nutritious foods can help you feel better and give your body the nutrients you need. Try planning the week’s meals on the weekend and even preparing healthy snacks ahead of time. Think whole foods, such as chopped carrots and cubed cheese or apple slices and peanut butter, that are easy to grab on the go.
