Q.

I have GDM that starts in 28 weeks of pregnancy. I am taking 8 units of insulin even though my blood sugar level after post-meal is showing 135-150. Does this affect my baby's growth? I am 32 years old. I am following the doctor's suggested diet chart also.

A. Hello my dear parent! Better to check with your concerning doctor in this matter as there is no practical improvement in your condition. Consider considering the situation your doctor will advise you further on this matter. Trust your doctor and complete the course of medication as advice.

Q. Hi, I'm 30 weeks pregnant with twins. My blood sugar level was 126 after breakfast, so I have been advised to take 3 units of insulin every day(once a day).
