riaMom of a 4 yr old child4 years agoA. i took spinal block for my first delivery. yes that pain remains for a long time, but it is not always related to the epidural or spinal block administration location..
what I have known form my experience is that the spot where they give the injection/epidural and the spot where there is max stress while baby handling is almost the same...
since we did not have that pain before the baby, we tend to relate it with the injection..
my suggestion would be, talk to your doctor and do some light stretching exercises to help with the pain..take rest when it becomes too painful.. increase calcium intake in your meals...always have back support when feeding your baby or whenever you need
