Q.

I had a C section delivery 2yrs back, but even now sometimes I get pain at the place they have ended the stitch(knot). Initial days wen I experienced the same I had consulted my Gynec n she had given me a paracetamol for few days n later it reduced but it’s been more than 2 yrs now n I still experience the pain in few moments. Kindly help me with further steps. In between had also consulted a diff gynec for this but she said she doesn’t find any problematic kind of thing n suggested me with some painkillers for few days n got reduced but dint find a solution for it.

A. It is most likely due to the suture material which may cause pain in a few people but usually it should not cause you any harm. If it is tolerable then fine but if there is any redness or swelling or discharge then only consult Dr.Write Your Answer Here

A. Cramping as your uterus shrinks is a common symptom during the postpartum period. But if you experience intense abdominal pain, or notice signs of infection like redness, swelling, or pus around the incision, visit the doctor immediately.
