Q.

I am really concerned much about my 21months old baby boy,he is biting walls, soaps, papers ,pencils and many more. not able to control him trying to keep everything away from him.but still he is eating dust in the corners,and papers from his sister books. Because of this habit he is not eating food properly. can someone suggest what is the solution for this.

A. Namaste Mom, This condition is called as Pica, were in an individual tend to have a liking to non edible things as such,mostly linked to nutritional defiencency , mainly iron or calcium

A. my baby is doing the same , when I met the pediatrician he told me that the baby had a worm in stomach and then he gave a deworm medicine

A. Pica is a disorder which is commonly seen with cage which can be treated well with supplements it’s basically due to deficiencies in the body could be mostly calcium but others can also be a part of it so check with your doctor needs a normal thing to be seen
