Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no neegd to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
You have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100F or more.
The warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Hi See the body temperature is usually warmer so if it is under 99° fahrenheit it is not fever so you do not have to give any medicine to the child of course but if it is higher than that then you have to give medicine because then it will be calculated as fever
