Q.

I am a breastfeeding mother. my baby is four months old. he keeps on sucking his fingers all over the time even after the feed. is it the reason that he is not getting sufficient milk supply? so I introduced formula milk but he refuses to take. I tried in many different ways but it's not working. he only wants the breast milk. I am feeding him in every hour as he demands.. even after that he keeps on sucking his fingers. Please suggest how to introduce him the formula milk and what is the reason behind sucking the fingers

A. Babies have natural rooting and sucking reflexes, which can cause them to put their thumbs or fingers into their mouths ...it's not mean that baby is hungry ... if you want to continue Formula you can give Aptamil Gold Stage 1 ....The formula is very good for babiea.. do not constipate and contains all the minerals a baby needs.. pediatrician recommended

A. Teething has started to happen your child is not hungry see a lot of parents do not know that the process can start any time after the age of three months and when kids learn suddenly to bite their finger or thumb because they have so much of itching and irritation into their gums and that’s the reason that they behave like this changing the mail or introducing formula is not going to help you can give a Teether to your child to chew and bite on
