Q.

I am 36 year old, pregnant by 2nd child and i having thyroid problem. before getting pregnant I used to take thyroxin 25,now after getting pregnant I started taking thyroxin 50.my tsh level is 6.8 . is it sufficient? please reply.

A. You have to increase the dosage because the TSH is still elevated and it is better than to have a talk with the physician.After delivery the baby should also be checkedWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hi See you gynaecologist Must have advise you to double the dosage and yes it would have been enough which is why your doctor in as advised to go ahead with more than that so you can continue with the same thing as of now and if you require you can go ahead with the further investigation with your doctor
