Q.

I am 21 week pregnant and my Dr said my baby has an echogenic focus in his/her Heart . I did echocardiography and all other Down syndrome tests to check whether this focus create any other related problems. all are fine but Is echogenic focus dangerous for my baby? And is it disappear after sometimes??

A. If there is a focus only in the heart and if it is not associated with other foci in brain or gut then there’s no need to worry and usually by the time the baby is born the focus will go awayWrite Your Answer Here
