Q.

I am 18 weeks pregnant. In My 12th week of pregnancy doctor conducted double marker test. Everything was ok and it showed low risk. Now doctor is also asking for conducting quadruple test. I have heard that if double marker test is normal, triple marker or quadruple test is not required. I have no problem in pregnancy. plz suggest what should I do?

A. if there is no problem in double Marker test you do not need to go for other tests yes you can take a second opinion by showing your reports to a doctor as after proper history and examination only one can suggest that whether other tests are needed or not
