I am not a experts...but gone through same issue about my son..he has iron defeciency aniemia. his doctor suggested to give him a food rich with iron.. mostly nonveg food contains more of iron..So I am daily giving him chiken kaleja 1 piece. Also I am giving him jaggery, groundnut powder, eggs, fish, veggie soup, chapati. dryfruits powder ( walnuts, pistachio, badaam, kaaju), raisins. Parents should make a timetable, so that they can give all these food rich in iron.. however, doctor consulation is a must part..they will prescribe iron and folic acid syrup.
