so you have to be persistent and keep trying.
introduce new food in day time when baby is likely to be more hungry.
keep food ready and try at a time when baby may be hungriest for example after waking up.
it may take several attempts for many days for baby to accept a particular food.
even then if baby does not accept, then move onto another food.
try to give food in an attractive manner. involve your child in grocery shopping, explain the different types of foods - their colour, texture etc.
do not force feed it creates negative relation with food.
