hlw dctr, my baby is now 5yr 1mnth...weight 19 kg... is it ok... she is looking very thin... maximum time cold and little fever also... what to do.. plz guide

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very important to meet your doctor to confirm whether the weight and height of the child is within normal limits or not
and to know if child is suffering from any nutritional deficiency because that can lead to loss of appetite.
offer different recipes and flavours made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily to improve the weight and height of the child
give plenty of water to drink and juice extracted from fruits which acts as natural appetizer
if the child is not allexrgic then you can add dry fruit powder as well as ghee to the diet which will help in improving the calorie and protein in the diet.
go through different diet plan as well as recipes which is present in firstcry application.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be tuuvery useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
