hloo madam I'm mother of 4month old baby in my pregnancy Doppler scanning test result show brain sparing.my baby birth wt 2.3 now wt 5kg,,,,I'm ask about is any prblm of my baby in future or otherwise I consult a pediatrician about these matter.....plzz explain what to do....I'm very tensed .....plz mam suggest

The term “brain-sparing” refers to relative protection of the brain as compared with other organs during fetal development, but this does not guarantee normal development after birth.Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is most commonly caused by placental insufficiency, in response to which the fetus adapts its circulation to preserve oxygen and nutrient supply to the brain ('brain-sparing').
