hii my daughter is 2 years old.. just few days back she started to have runny nose .. so gave her medication for cold.. zytrec once in the night just 2 ml but now she is havin lose stool.. is it coz of the cold??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consishgts of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steamf inhalation is repeated frequently .

No the loose motion is not because of cold there could be any other reason I thought your child is having its teeth are your child is suffering with a stomach infection which is why this may be happening so to be more sure about it you will have to once get a check with your paediatricianWrite Your Answer Here
