POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy5 months agoA. Sticky eyes in an 11-month-old baby could be due to an eye infection, blocked tear ducts, or allergies. You can gently clean your baby's eyes using a warm, damp cotton cloth or sterile cotton soaked in lukewarm water. Wipe from the inner corner of the eye outward and use a fresh cotton piece for each eye. Breast milk drops can also help if you're breastfeeding. If the eyes remain sticky, swollen, red, or if there's yellow or green discharge, consult a pediatrician as it may need antibiotic eye drops. Keep your baby's hands clean and avoid touching the eyes frequently to prevent worsening the condition.
