Q.

hii doctor, good evening. my daughter is not going to poop for 3 days and making weird sounds like pain . she is autistic and not telling us about the pain if I ask her she is not responding I am not understanding what to do please please suggest me...

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid foodd has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doghctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Q. #asktheexperts my baby was pooping 10 times a day till nov 30. From Dec 1 till Dec 4 evening no poop all of a sudden. His fart smells and he is giving sounds trying to poop. Suddenly he pooped diaper full on Dec 4 evening. Doc gave digestive enzymes drop. Again no poop from Dec 4 evening Till now Dec 6 evening. digestive drops are for what if not for pooping?
