#asktheexperts my baby was pooping 10 times a day till nov 30. From Dec 1 till Dec 4 evening no poop all of a sudden. His fart smells and he is giving sounds trying to poop. Suddenly he pooped diaper full on Dec 4 evening. Doc gave digestive enzymes drop. Again no poop from Dec 4 evening Till now Dec 6 evening. digestive drops are for what if not for pooping? Even today he s giving sounds trying to poop but no poop just gas

Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after ecach feed is very important. Enzyme preparations like gg aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
