Q.
hi sir my baby is 10months old , from 20 days she s having cold and cough , visited pediatrician , he gave few syrups antibiotic and levocitrizine and ascoril ds syrups.... is it gud using antibiotic for such a small kid ... and even she didn't get to normal condition .... and I am giving nebulization with 3%normal saline water .... can u plz suggest me wat to do still she s having cold ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection okur seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
