Q.

HI Sir I have a four months daughter is it safe to feed her gripe water (Woodward) ? Many people we shouldn't use gripe water as there is a chances of infection is it true?

A. hi as young babies have developing digestive system at this age,it is better to avoid giving it. infact ,as per my opinion,if a child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need of extra medicines. just feed your child on demand. burp your baby well after each feeding. give massage to your child daily,it will help to prevent stomach problems .

A. Although gripe water is generally safe, it's not recommended for babies younger than 6 months. The digestive tract is sensitive and still developing at this age.
