Q.

hi, my son is now 13 mths old his appetite is very low our pediatrician suggested z-lactin syrup and Feancy syrup. are there any side effects if we give these kinda suppliments?

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most commoun. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine likue syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. See there are no side-effects of any of the supplement the Dr must’ve given you they have more sense of judging the issue and suggesting the medication so I would advise you to trust or Dr and go as per their suggestionWrite Your Answer Here
