Hi. My son is 4 months old. For the past 2 weeks he passes stools which has red streaks. It has mucous sometimes and he has passed like that three times. My Paed prescribed Enterogermina for 5 days and Z&D for 15 days. Even after finishing those medications he continues to pass like that. Will it take somemore time. Or any more investigation is needed.

A. it is advisable to get a stool examination done which will tell which type of infection of digestion problem the child is suffering from and whether there is any need to change the medicine or not
