Q.

Hi.. my Son in 2yrs & 3months old... but he just speaks Appa, amma (dad and mom)... but he's super responsive and understands what we're trying to communicate and responds by signs/draging a word.. and also has excellent eye contact.. are these signs of speech delay..? any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks.. !

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2.3 years old and he doesn’t speak properly but only monologues words like papa and mamma etc so see if he has a tongue tie beneath it or he can hear or not

A. if your child is saying mono syllable and by syllable words by this time and if other milestones are good like hearing and eye contact is also there do not worry just properly interact and get a proper consultation done by a doctor if you have any confusion rather than getting confused by any other person

A. Yes I think your child is having actually delayed speech only because otherwise everything seems perfectly good well in place so that’s very nice but as of now it would be advisable that you start either with the homoeopathic treatment for the same or if you need to you can always consult a speech therapist ones
