Q.

Hi my new born girl baby is 2.1kg during birth at 36 weeks of gestation? Is that normal? Or considered to be low birth weight ir premature?

A. This is a very much average weight gain that your child is having and that’s completely alright and I don’t think so your child would be considered as premature because after 35 to 36 weeks of delivery it’s a full term pregnancy because you are in the ninth month
