A. Frequent urination in a two-year-old, where they are passing urine every five minutes and drinking more water, could indicate a few potential issues that might warrant a doctor's consultation: 1. **Possible Urinary Tract Infection (UTI):** Frequent urination, urgency, and increased thirst can be signs of a UTI, especially if accompanied by discomfort, crying during urination, or fever. 2. **Diabetes:** Increased thirst (polydipsia) and frequent urination (polyuria) are classic symptoms of diabetes. While less common in very young children, it's still a consideration if there's a family history or other concerning symptoms. 3. **Other Conditions:** There could be other less common reasons such as bladder irritation, certain medications, or behavioral factors. Given these possibilities, it's advisable to consult with your pediatrician. They can evaluate your child, perform necessary tests (such as urine analysis), and provide a diagnosis or recommend further steps if needed. It's better to address potential health issues early to ensure your child receives appropriate care and treatment.
