Q.

hi.. my daughter's weight is 3.45kg and she is 3 months old now. her weight was 2.1 kg at the time of birth. what could be the reason for not gaining weight and what should I do to increase her weight?

A. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritional deficiencies like nutritional al anemia and some other factors like malabsorption any chronic disease like congenital heart disease or some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .

A. Hi mom The weight gain of the baby is fine. Babies they gain around half kg every month till six months. so no need to worry. Feed for longer time from one breast so that the baby gets both fore milk and hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby
