Q.

Hi, My daughter's age is 2months 11 days. She is suffering with cold. Could you please suggest which medication to be used?

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalattion will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestangt medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. hello actually if the doctor has prescribed earlier like paediatric sinarest syrup or maxtra you can use any in this for common cold as well as if the cold severe you can try consulting the doctor
