Q.

Hi , my daughter is only 8.3 Kg and she is 10.5 months old as per my knowledge baby weight should be triple once they complete 1 year, at birth she was 3.6 kg as per this calculation she seems to be under weight i am soo soo tensed what to do ? can i give her dry fruit powder , can i give packed paneer , butter and cheese to her ? we are in UK getting fresh india things are quite difficult here we get packed item only .

A. Hello mom Yes baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. But some babies don’t gain weight easily but in such cases if your baby is active and taking proper meals on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about.
