Q.

Hi, my daughter is 2 year 5 months..she is having fever an cold since 3 days. now fever is coming frequently not continously..although she is active and plays alot but apetite is very less.and also she sleeps a lot in compare to earlier usual days...Anything need of concern?? please suggest.

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be vefyry useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms g. Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. Sometimes you do fever the medicine that you give can make the child sleep a lot as it has decent amount of paracetamol into that but still just to be on the safer side I’m going to advise you to consult your paediatrician a proper checkup would be required before anything is said correctly to you
