hi.. my daughter is 16months old... last saturday she has fever n cold... from monday there is no fever.. but still running nose... cough n cold... Dr. medicine are in progress.. she is passing urine 1-2tyms from yesterday.. from yesterday onwards I saw her tounge is black.. please advise why...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a Dpart of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
